Rewarded by Creativity
I’m fond of the unusual and things that ‘tick’. I’m inspired by nature and it’s perfectly imperfect creations and detailed craftsmanship. I’m fuelled by coffee and driven by dreams. My work today reflects all this and more.
I quite literally grew up in a jewellery, gift and watch repair shop. Some of my earliest childhood memories are those of unpacking crates of giftware, boxes of jewellery and creating display areas. Circumstances and life paths took many twists and turns before I eventually returned to my roots and put my energy and passion back into what makes me thrive. Many of the tools I still use today in my workshop have a long history dating back to the early mid 1900’s.
I consider myself fortunate to be able to work for myself, through all the ups and downs and uncertainties. The job I’ve created for me outweighs any other job…ever! I’m rewarded by the creativity and honoured that my creations hold treasured positions in many people’s lives when they choose a piece that I’ve made to celebrate a moment or milestone in their life.
