Orders are shipped 5-6 days a week, depending on holidays. Under normal circumstances (non-holiday season), your order will likely reach you within 5-7 business days (US orders), depending on what day of the week your order is placed. We ship our items using the USPS (First Class Mail). Etsy will send USPS tracking information to you when your order ships so you can watch the transit time. The shipping estimates shown in the listings are automatically provided by Etsy.

Once an item has shipped, I have absolutely no control over the transit time. I am not an employee of the USPS and do not have access to the GPS coordinates of the delivery location. If an item is marked as being "delivered" within the postal system but cannot be found by the customer, I am not personally able to locate that item. I will refer the customer to their local mail carrier, who can then help them locate the item's whereabouts using GPS coordinates linked to the tracking number.

Occasionally I do run sales in my shop. These sales are active at random times. Sale prices are honored specifically during the sale times. If an item is purchased for full price when there is no active sale, the customer is agreeing to the purchase at full price.

Yes! Everything I sell has been hand-drawn by me. I do not use AI, filtered photographs, or clip art. I also cut and package everything by hand so each piece is unique!

If an old/outdated address is given at checkout and the order is shipped before I am notified of the new/updated address, I am not responsible for forwarding the package to the current address. Please double check your shipping information before you check out. Once I drop off your package with the post office, I cannot change the shipping address. If a package is sent back to my address, I am not responsible for paying for a new shipping label to resend the package.

For the time being, I only sell my artwork right here on Etsy, in one shop under the name: africangrey.etsy.com. If you see my artwork for sale anywhere else, it has been stolen and is being used without my permission.

Everything is carefully prepared and packaged by hand, so if the wrong item is accidentally sent to you, please let me know! I will quickly mail the correct item free of charge. Please be prepared to submit a photo as proof that the incorrect item was received. (A new item will not be sent until a photo is provided.)

Yes, all sales are final. When you purchase from my shop, you are agreeing to this policy. Each listing includes several photos and a thorough description of each item, including the exact materials used (examples: 100-lb linen paper and cotton yarn) and the dimensions (in inches). If you have questions about an item, please reach out before you purchase.

It is the responsibility of the customer to read each description and click on ALL of the listing photos before purchasing. We are not responsible for slight color differences caused by phone screens and monitors. It is stated in each listing (under the "Shipping and Returns" tab) that we do not accept returns and exchanges.

I ship all of my orders using the USPS. Unfortunately, shipping costs are outside of my control. Shipping costs go up every year and vary by zip code. Unless an upgrade is chosen at checkout, I use first class shipping WITH tracking included. I do not place smaller items in an envelope with a stamp (all items are shipped as packages). In addition to the actual shipping label (postage cost), Etsy sellers also have to pay shipping fees and buy their shipping supplies (I use sturdy cardboard mailers, bubblewrap, and DO NOT BEND stickers to avoid any damage in shipment). I drive my packages to the post office each day. After all of these costs are factored in, I actually pay more to ship my items than what I charge my customers.
