We have established our workshop in Bali in 1978 and have been since then collecting and archiving old Indonesian Wayang puppets from all over the archipelago. With a passion for puppetry and masks we have designed and conceived new puppets that are now famous all over Indonesia for their quality and exclusivity. We use our own master carvers in Central Java and Bali to carve the bodies and heads but fashion every other aspects of our self designed puppets here in our own workshop in Bali. We use the finest quality woods and mostly the finest original natural cottons and batiks and handwoven ikats for dressing our own puppets. Adornments and decorations are self fashioned from hand chased copper and brass foils, then gold plated in the ancient style of Indonesian bridal jewelry. Every head is individually hand painted by our own painters. It is a painstaking slow and precise work and our productions are limited but of the highest quality.
