thank you so much for your review and for giving our Japanese Red Maple a home! Shipping trees while they are dormant is actually the safest method. It minimizes transplant shock and stress during transit. Once your tree is planted and acclimates to the warmer spring weather, it will break dormancy and push out those stunning red leaves you are waiting for.
