Als echter Feinschmecker hatte ich schon immer eine Leidenschaft für Gourmet- und Spezialitätenprodukte.
Ich bin in Santa Barbara, Kalifornien, aufgewachsen, wo ich mit meiner Schwester Melody im Hinterhof "Schlammkuchen" mache.
Mein erster "richtiger Job" im kulinarischen Bereich war, nachdem ich nach Nordkalifornien gezogen war und anfing, als Assistentin des Küchenchefs im berühmten Cafe Beaujolais in Mendocino, Kalifornien, zu arbeiten. Ich denke, sie waren beeindruckt von meiner Arbeit und ließen mich schließlich auch ihre Gourmet-Desserts zubereiten.
Ich habe viele Jahre im kulinarischen Bereich gearbeitet und trainiert. Ich machte Gebäck und Desserts für andere gehobene Restaurants sowie etwas Catering, machte Hochzeitstorten und betrieb mein eigenes Bed and Breakfast.
Als Kleinstunternehmer habe ich ein paar kleine Unternehmen in Idaho gegründet. Hallo CHEESECAKE war einer von ihnen. Ich verkaufe die köstlichen Käsekuchen auf dem örtlichen Bauernmarkt. Sie können diese Süßigkeiten immer noch bei www.hellocheesecake.com sehen
Ich zog schließlich zurück nach Kalifornien und begann meine Reihe von Goodies auf Etsy. Es handelt sich meist um britische Gourmet-Spezialitäten. Ich habe alles Britische geliebt, solange ich mich erinnern kann, und es ist kein Wunder, da ich kürzlich herausgefunden habe, dass viele meiner Vorfahren britischer und auch britischer Königsklasse waren. Also, ich denke, es liegt in meinen Genen. : - ]

As a true foodie, I have always had a passion for gourmet and specialty food products.
I grew up in Santa Barbara, California where I use to make 'mud pies' in the back yard with my sister Melody.
My first 'real job' in the culinary field was after I moved to Northern California and started working as an assistant to the Chef at the famed Cafe Beaujolais in Mendocino, California. I guess they were impressed by my work and eventually had me making their gourmet desserts as well.
I spent many years working and training in the culinary field. I made pastries and desserts for other fine dining restaurants as well as some catering, making wedding cakes and running my own Bed and Breakfast.
Being a micro-entrepreneur I started a couple of small businesses in Idaho. HELLO CHEESECAKE was one of them. I use to sell the delectable cheesecakes at the local farmers market. You can still view these sweets at www.hellocheesecake.com
I eventually moved back to California and started my line of goodies on Etsy. They are mostly British gourmet specialty food products. I have loved everything British for as long as I can remember and it is no wonder as I recently found out that many of my ancestors were of British and also British Royalty descent. So, I guess it is in my genes. : - ]
