All payments must be by PayPal or through Etsy Direct Checkout with Credit Card.
Any custom orders will need to be paid for in full in advance of making the item.
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.

I use Royal Mail Price Finder to calculate shipping costs.
UK POSTAGE:
The shipping costs quoted in the shop are for Second Class Signed For with Royal Mail. If you require your items by First Class or Express mail, please contact me for a quote. I always obtain proof of posting in the event the package does not reach you.
DELIVERY TIMES FOR UK CUSTOMERS : 2-3 working days
INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE:
Except for small items like booties and hair bands, I use Standard Airmail, all other knits will be shipped using the Royal Mail Tracking service. Confirmation of postage and tracking number will be sent to you via email.
DELIVERY TIMES FOR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS : 5 - 10 working days - Note: This is an estimate, it doesn't necessarily mean that your package will be delivered within this time frame. It depends on the postal service from where the order originated.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
I am not responsible for delays due to customs.
COMBINING POSTAGE: In the event of purchasing more than one item in a single transaction, I will combine packaging and postage costs. As knits are bulky, I advise you convo me for a quote before purchasing.

Items will be in an organza bag hand stitched by me, dispatched in a mail bag within 1-2 days of receipt of payment.

Customers have the choice of choosing their own colours. I do not stock yarn, therefore, delivery will take longer. Turn around can take approximately 4-6 weeks. Customer will be kept informed.

As yarn companies change their colours on a regular basis, I cannot guarantee to provide the same colour yarn as you would see in the shop photo should you require the same colour in a different size, but shall endeavour to get a colour as close as possible.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you make a purchase from CJs Handknits on Etsy, you supply our shop, via Etsy, with the information necessary to complete an order. This information remains on Etsy as a record of your purchase, your online receipt, and any communications (convos) between yourself and us, which stays on Etsy.

We do not ever see your credit card or PayPal data. This is held by Etsy who handles all financial transactions.

Therefore, the data that we are privy to, via Etsy, are

*your email address
*the name and address to whom we ship your purchase
*what you purchased
*If you have purchased from us in the past
*items and shops you have indicated that you like by clicking on a heart
*Any feedback you leave about a purchase
*Communications you have with us, and information therein

HOW WE USE IT

We use the information with which you supply us to complete your order, and to comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

How LONG WE KEEP IT

After shipping, we do not retain any of your records, but we can still see the records you have shared with Etsy.

If you would like for us to delete Etsy conversations, and any information that you have shared with us in them, we would gladly do so. This will delete them from being visible to us. We do not know if they are still visible to Etsy, since such records could be used to clarify a dispute that might arise, making it potentially beneficial for Etsy to retain them all.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

Etsy and we share your information while we are preparing an order for you, and after the order has been shipped, Etsy alone retains those records, although we can see your information as it pertains to a sale from our shop, and we can see the information you shared with us, if in fact, you did share any with us.

We do not share your information with anyone other than Etsy and the company through whom we ship (which is nearly exclusively Royal Mail).

Should a government request, a legal obligation, a legal claim (like a tax law), or a court obligation require us to disclose any of your private information, we would do so only with the utmost caution.
