Ignoring the call to be creative for much longer was only going to result in frustration and pain. So, I created CleverCryptid!
Hi, I'm Sam. I worked a 9-5 in what you would call a normal job, but needed to scratch the creative itch. I realized I have years of experience to give to the world, with a blend that only I could bring. As a lifelong artist, and a digital sculptor for over a decade, I bring my virtual sculpts to life largely via my 3d printer.
There's a large market appealing to men who are into the same stuff I am- dark "edgy" things, video games, anime- but the market for women is largely one-sided. There's not much there for a gal that wants something in those areas that also appeals to a feminine sense.
That's largely why I made CleverCryptid. Currently, the focus is on unique accessories and decor that are made with love and made to last. But eventually, I plan to expand further into the duality of feminine things- statues, figurines and desk buddies for all tastes. From magical girls to horrifying cryptids (or, if you're like me, the more "appealing" side of cryptids- you know who you are), beautiful dragons and fierce women, I hope to create things to make all our souls smile. Especially millenials that grew up with 90s anime influences, Labyrinth and The Last Unicorn, Playstation 1, and Final Fantasy rented from Blockbuster for way too many weekends in a row.
