From Sue
Towards the end of last year, I went through a tough emotional time due to menopause for about a week. While I experienced milder symptoms compared to others, there were still moments of struggle due to hormonal changes. I couldn't sleep properly and lacked energy, often spending nights in bed scrolling through my phone because I couldn't do anything productive. This led to increased screen time and worsened sleep.
During one evening, despite feeling exhausted, I felt like I had to do something. So, I took out my embroidery hoop after a long time and started stitching a few leaves. After embroidering, I felt much lighter. Although I always felt good after embroidery, that night I experienced an even stronger sense of satisfaction.
Since then, I've been regularly stitching, mainly using a 4-5 inch hoop placed next to my desk. Furthermore, based on this experience, I'm making efforts to organize gatherings with friends for embroidery sessions. I hope you'll join our Coco Stitch Club and I aspire to offer more free patterns.
