Meine künstlerische Tätigkeit ist seit über einem Jahrzehnt der Puls meines Lebens. Ob ich Schmuckkollektionen in Handarbeit herstelle oder Cyanotypie-Kunstwerke, meine Arbeit ist für mich Ausdrucksform und Therapie zugleich.
Meine Schmuckkollektionen verbinden meine Inspirationen und meine Kultur mit der Natur – basierend auf den seltenen Materialien, die ich verwende. Steine faszinieren mich seit meiner Kindheit. Als ich meine erste Fackel in die Hand nahm, war ich vom alchemistischen Prozess der Transformation fasziniert. Indem ich mit Feuer, Metall und natürlichen Schätzen aus dem Nichts etwas erschuf, veränderte auch ich mich. Mein Schmuck ist von den göttlichen Kräften der Natur beeinflusst. Ich lasse mich von der Flüssigkeit des Ozeans, der rauen Schönheit der Wüste, der Lebendigkeit des Waldes und unserer inneren Stärke und Widerstandsfähigkeit inspirieren. Ich hoffe, dass Sie sich beim Tragen eines meiner Schmuckstücke ein wenig mehr mit Ihrem inneren Urselbst und der Erde um Sie herum verbunden fühlen.
Meine Cyanotypie-Arbeiten sind Fotografien meiner Abenteuer in der Natur. Ich erkunde die Pfade in Nationalparks und finde dabei Teile meiner selbst. Cyanotypie ist ein ungiftiges fotografisches Verfahren mit Chemikalien und Sonnenlicht, das bis in die 1840er Jahre zurückreicht und von Botanikern entwickelt wurde, um ihre neuen Entdeckungen zu dokumentieren. Ich strebe danach, dieses Erbe mit meinen eigenen Bildern und botanischen Drucken fortzuführen.
Wenn ich nicht in meinem Studio bin, gehe ich gerne wandern, campen und reisen. Ich helfe meiner Gemeinde immer, wo ich kann, und stehe stets für meine humanitären Überzeugungen ein. Ich habe meinen Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) am Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, Washington, mit Schwerpunkt Fotografie und Nebenfach Umweltwissenschaften erworben.

My art practice has been the vital pulse of my life for over a decade. Whether I am handcrafting jewelry collections or Cyanotype works of art my work is a form of expression and therapy for me.
My Jewelry collections connect my inspirations and culture to the natural world on the bases of the rare materials I use. I have been fascinated with stones since I was a child. Once I picked up my first torch, I was hooked by the alchemical process of transformation. By creating something out of nothing, using fire, metal, and natural treasures from the earth, I found myself transforming as well. My jewelry is influenced by the divine forces of nature. I draw inspiration from the fluidity of the ocean, the brutal beauty of the desert, the vibrancy of the forest, and our inner strength and resilience. My hope is that when you wear a piece of my jewelry, you feel a little more connected to your inner primal self, and to the earth around you.
My Cyanotype works are photographs from my adventures in nature. Exploring the trails in national parks and finding parts of myself along the way. Cyanotype is a non toxic photographic process using chemistry and sunlight that dates back to the 1840s created by botanist to document their new discoveries. I strive to continue that legacy with my own images and botanical prints.
When I am not in my studio, I enjoy hiking, camping, and traveling. I strive to always help my community where I can and always stand up for my humanitarian beliefs. I received my BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle Washington majoring in Photography and minoring in environmental sciences.
