Mi nombre es María y soy polaca. Proyecto iluminación ecológica a partir de residuos de papel.
¡En un momento determinado de mi vida decidí cambiar de trabajo y empezar a hacer algo que realmente quería!
Estudié Historia del Arte en Polonia e Italia. Siempre me gustó el arte: la pintura, la arquitectura y, sobre todo, la escultura. Me encanta trabajar con papel maché para crear lámparas y objetos porque, para mí, son como esculturas funcionales que transforman nuestro entorno. El lugar donde vivimos y lo que nos rodea afecta profundamente nuestro estado de ánimo y bienestar. Mis creaciones se pueden personalizar: las formas, las texturas y los colores se pueden ajustar para armonizar con cualquier interior, creando un todo cohesivo. Habiendo estudiado Historia del Arte, me fascina la escultura y su influencia en los espacios que habita.
Hay cierta poesía en el papel, en la transformación de la pulpa. Mis lámparas no son meras creaciones de papel: están hechas de periódicos que capturan momentos, instantáneas en el tiempo. Cada lámpara contiene mensajes de guerras, pandemias, elecciones: fragmentos de nuestra memoria colectiva. En el proceso de convertirse en pulpa, estos mensajes se mezclan y se desvanecen, transformándose en algo nuevo y fresco.

At a certain point in my life I decided to change my job and start to do something which I really wanted!
I was studying Art History in Poland and in Italy. I always liked art: painting, architecture and most of all sculpture. I love working with papier-mâché to create lamps and objects because, to me, they are like functional sculptures that transform our surroundings. Where we live and what we are surrounded by profoundly affects our mood and well-being. My creations can be personalized—shapes, textures, and colors can be adjusted to harmonize with any interior, creating a cohesive whole. Having studied art history, I am fascinated by sculpture and its influence on the spaces it inhabits.
There is a certain poetry in paper, in the transformation of pulp. My lamps are not merely paper creations—they are crafted from newspapers that capture moments, snapshots in time. Each lamp holds within it messages of wars, pandemics, elections—fragments of our collective memory. In the process of becoming pulp, these messages mix and fade, transforming into something new and fresh.
