Da anni ormai, le parole 'Create Hope' sono una forza appassionata che mi aiuta a vivere la mia vita. Cos'altro siamo qui su questa grande palla blu se non per creare speranza e ispirare gli altri, e per fare tutto per la gloria di Dio?
Tutto. Tutto ciò che siamo, tutto ciò che facciamo, ogni talento, persino ogni tragedia può in qualche modo ispirare gli altri e alla fine mostrare l'amore di Dio. Io ci credo veramente. È il modo in cui cerco di vivere la mia vita. Non sempre ci riesco e sbaglio spesso, ma voglio condividere brevemente con i miei lettori e questa comunità come il Signore mi ha dato una nuova strada per ispirare le persone!
Lavoro con bambini con bisogni speciali in età elementare durante l'anno scolastico. Sapendo che avrei avuto bisogno di un lavoro estivo, ho iniziato a cercare e pregare. Ho scritto nel mio diario di preghiera: "Dio, come farò a destreggiarmi tra tutto? Non posso lasciare i bambini da soli tutto il giorno, né voglio. Tu sei il Padre della creatività. Ne condividerai un po'con me in modo che io possa avere un reddito e passare ancora l'estate con la mia famiglia?"
Quindi, quella preghiera ha scatenato una serie di eventi che hanno portato a questo. Crea polsini Hope.
Io e la mia famiglia (e una parte della nostra città, ah!) siamo costantemente alla ricerca di vecchie cinture di pelle. Perché? Perché li sto riciclando in braccialetti di pelle per venderli localmente e online. Sì, ci siamo divertiti molto con questo concerto estivo... così tanto che l'abbiamo trasformato in un business a tutti gli effetti. E ora, quasi due anni dopo, la crescita è stata così incredibile, è diventato il mio lavoro più che a tempo pieno e abbiamo diversi assistenti di produzione.
Ciò che rende i polsini in pelle Create Hope Cuffs diversi dagli altri sono le parole ispiratrici personalizzate che incrivo lettera per lettera in ciascuno di essi. Sono grato di dire che non tutta la mia formazione è venuta da google, youtube o Pinterest !! Attraverso alcuni tentativi, errori e preghiere, Dio mi ha mostrato un modo davvero interessante per aggiungere tecniche che sono tutte mie. Alleluia per la creatività nata dalla disperazione e dalla perseveranza!
Adoro l'intero processo: trovare le cinture con la mia famiglia, ricrearle in braccialetti, aggiungere le giuste parole ispiratrici, condividere la mia storia, venderle e fornire reddito alla mia famiglia e forse la parte più eccitante ...
Siamo in grado di DARE come mai prima d'ora!!! I proventi di Create Hope Cuffs, attraverso Children's HopeChest, vanno alla nostra amata comunità Bheveni nello Swaziland, in Africa. Ogni braccialetto che acquisti aiuta ulteriormente le loro opportunità educative. In Swaziland, le tasse scolastiche devono essere pagate per imparare a leggere e scrivere. Se un bambino è orfano o più bambini cresciuti da una madre single, come possono permettersi l'alfabetizzazione quando soddisfare i bisogni di base della vita è già una sfida? Quindi il nostro fondo B.E.S.T. (Bheveni Educational Scholarship Trust) è istituito e sta aiutando a mantenere quasi 200 bambini a scuola ogni anno! Lodate il Signore!
Quindi ogni volta che acquisti un braccialetto ispiratore, non solo ti ispira, ma insegna a un bambino a leggere e scrivere e a valutare il proprio potenziale!

E l'idea mi ha dato Dio, mi ha aiutato a trovare un talento che non sapevo nemmeno di avere, e guida le mie mani attraverso ogni fase del processo. La stampa della pelle non è facile e a volte le mie dita vengono battute invece del timbro (ouch!), O uno scatto vola via e mi colpisce negli occhi, ma ehi, lo sto ancora amando!
Un'altra cosa: sono rimasto sbalordito da quanti ordini personalizzati / personalizzati arrivano. In un mondo di bombardamento quasi costante di messaggi negativi... abbiamo bisogno di verità e luce. Saggezza. Serenità. Radiante. Fai risplendere la tua luce (per tutta la famiglia!) Orgoglioso del mio Marine. Attraversiamo. Vale più dell'oro. State tranquilli e sappiate che io sono Dio.
Tutte queste parole (e non solo) scelte da persone che vogliono portare l'ispirazione sulla manica. Perché tutti abbiamo bisogno di promemoria dei nostri cari, promemoria per continuare ad andare avanti, promemoria per pregare, promemoria che POSSIAMO vivere questa vita e tutta la sua pienezza. Le parole sono speciali. Basta chiedere a Dio, è così che Egli è stato scelto attraverso i secoli per comunicare con noi – attraverso la Sua Parola, sia scritta che parlata. Quindi sì, le parole hanno potere. E meditare sulle parole giuste ha un potere ancora maggiore.
Ho detto che sarebbe stato breve? :) Ha! Impossibile.

For years now, the words ‘Create Hope’ have been a passionate force which helps me live my life. What else are we here on this big blue ball for other than to create hope & inspire others, and to do it all for the glory of God?
All. Everything we are, everything we do, every talent, even every tragedy can somehow inspire others and ultimately show God’s love. I truly believe this. It’s the way I try to live my life. I don’t always succeed & I get it wrong often, but I want to briefly share with my readers & this community how the Lord has given me a new avenue to inspire people!
I work with elementary-aged special needs children during the school year. Knowing I’d need a summer job, I began searching & praying. I wrote in my prayer journal, “God, how am I gonna juggle everything? I can’t leave the kids alone all day, nor do I want to. You are the Father of creativity. Will you share some of it with me so I can have income and still spend the summer with my family?”
So, that prayer sparked a series of events that has led to this. Create Hope Cuffs.
My family & I (and a portion of our town, ha!) are constantly on the search for old leather belts. Why? Because I’m upcycling them into leather cuff bracelets to sell locally & online. Yep, we had a blast with this summer gig... so much that we turned it into a full fledged business. And now, nearly two years later, the growth has been so incredible, it's become my more-than-full time job and we have several production assistants.
What makes Create Hope Cuffs leather cuffs different from the rest are the personalized inspirational words I inscribe letter by letter into each of them. I’m thankful to say not all of my training came from google, youtube or Pinterest!! Through some trial, error & prayer, God showed me a really cool way to add techniques that are all my own. Hallelujah for creativity birthed out of desperation and perseverance!
I love the entire process – finding the belts with my family, recreating them into bracelets, added just the right inspirational words, sharing my story, selling them and providing income for my family and possibly the MOST exciting part...
We are able to GIVE like never before!!! Create Hope Cuffs proceeds, through Children's HopeChest, go to our beloved Bheveni Community in Swaziland, Africa. Every bracelet you buy helps further their educational opportunities. In Swaziland, tuition must be paid in order to learn to read & write. If a child is orphaned or multiple children being raised by a single mother, how can they afford literacy when meeting life’s basic needs are already a challenge? So our B.E.S.T. (Bheveni Educational Scholarship Trust) Fund is set in place & is helping to keep nearly 200 kids in school every year! Praise the Lord!

And the idea was God-given, He helped me find a talent I didn’t even know I had, and He guides my hands through each step of the process. Leather stamping isn’t easy & sometimes my fingers get pounded instead of the stamp (ouch!), or a snap flies off & hits me in the eye, but hey, I’m still loving it!
One more thing: I’ve been blown away by how many custom/personalized orders coming in. In a world of near constant bombardment of negative messages... we need truth & light. Wisdom. Serenity. Radiant. Shine Your Light (for a whole family!) Proud of My Marine. Attraversiamo (Lets Cross Over). Worth more than Gold. Be still & know I am God.
All these words (& more) chosen by people who want to wear inspiration on their sleeve. Because we all need reminders of loved ones, reminders to keep moving forward, reminders to pray, reminders that we CAN live this life and all its fullness. Words are special. Just ask God, that’s how He’s chosen through the ages to communicate with us – through His Word, both written & spoken. So yeah, words have power. And meditating on the right words have even greater power.
Did I say this was going to be brief? :) Ha! Impossible.
