About EarringCafe
The Earring Cafe is Amanda Glanville: Maker of Tiny Glass Stuff
It all began with being allowed to play with the sparkly sugar in my Gran's sugar bowl as a very little girl. Been drawn to twinkly stuff ever since and when I learned how to melt glass, well, the sky's the limit!

Shipping
I only post within the UK. This has been a difficult decision but ongoing Brexit-related red tape means the possible charges incurred on deliveries to places outside the UK make it unrealistic to post such small items at a set price.
Postage for orders under £50
I send all orders under £50 by uninsured Royal Mail post to help keep the prices down.
For the UK this is at a flat rate of £3.50.
Postage for orders over £50
For orders over £50, they will be sent insured Royal Mail post.
Insured orders are trackable and will need a delivery signature. The Royal Mail gives approximate guidelines for delivery times (2 days to UK ) but these times are not guaranteed, only guidelines, and of course may be affected by local issues such as the odd strike and public holidays!
If you would prefer me to send your order by a different method please GET IN TOUCH BEFORE YOU ORDER. I'm happy to chat!
Everything is sent out carefully packaged and in perfect condition - unless clearly stated (eg in the case of sample or trial pieces). If you find your purchase is faulty, please contact me within 7 days of receiving it, clearly stating the problem.
Additional policies and FAQs
One off designs / Part of a range
Most of my pieces are made as part of a range. This means I have created an original design which I repeat each time someone orders it.
Some times pieces are a one off design.
Please read the description for each listing to see which applies.
Part of a range designs will have unique very slight differences. I have photographed an example piece in most circumstances - to photograph every single piece I make would not make selling in this way viable.
You can request me to send you a photograph of what I have in stock if you are concerned, however I would do this anyway if there are options (eg I have two in stock or the glass has reacted to give a slightly different effect).
The nature of my work means you will not get a carbon copy each time, and 99% of people understand and like this.
Occasionally they don't! So if you think a unique piece isn't for you, you might want to think again about ordering. If you have ordered and you're concerned please see the returns information above. Always contact me first to see if there is a way to resolve it without adding to the profits of the postage companies!
Packaging - Everything will be carefully packed and wrapped within an inch of it's life with padding (I am trying to limit my use of plastic) and acid free tissue, then packed into padded envelopes or boxes. I try and recycle packaging where possible, but any gift wrapping underneath the padding will be brand new.
Feedback - I leave positive feedback on receipt of your feedback once we know your package has arrived safely and you are happy with your purchases.
Please contact me about any queries or problems, however small.
