The Story Behind FAN-atic Frames
Sports memories have a way of staying with us forever.
The teams we grew up cheering for, the championships we celebrated, the players we admired, and the moments we shared with family and friends all become part of our story. That passion is what inspired FAN-atic Frames.
At FAN-atic Frames, I create custom framed sports artwork designed to celebrate the teams and moments that mean the most to you. Whether your loyalty belongs to football, baseball, basketball, hockey, NASCAR, golf, or beyond, every piece is handcrafted with attention to detail and built to become a centerpiece for your home, office, game room, bar, or man cave.
Maybe it’s the magic of the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, the unforgettable Mets teams of ’69 or ’86, the historic 2004 Red Sox championship, the Super Bowl Champion Giants, or a legendary athlete like Dale Earnhardt or LeBron James. Whatever team or era fuels your passion, I love turning those memories into framed displays that fans are proud to showcase.
FAN-atic Frames began in 2003 during a major life transition for my family. While my wife and I balanced careers and raised our growing family, I eventually became a stay-at-home dad after the birth of our second child. Wanting a creative outlet that connected with my lifelong love of sports, I began exploring ways to create unique sports-themed gifts and memorabilia.
One holiday season while shopping for a gift for a devoted St. Louis Rams fan — I came across a framed sports display in a mall store. Although the idea was great, the craftsmanship left a lot to be desired. The memorabilia had simply been taped down, damaging the items themselves. Standing there, I remember thinking, “There has to be a better way.”
That moment sparked everything.
I immersed myself in learning mat cutting and framing techniques, bought my first mat cutter, and began creating pieces by hand right on my dining room table. What started as a passion project quickly grew into FAN-atic Frames.
Over the years, my work has been featured at craft shows throughout the Northeast and displayed in the homes, offices, and fan caves of sports lovers everywhere. Today, I’m proud to bring those handcrafted creations to Etsy and share them with fellow fans who appreciate both sports history and quality craftsmanship.
Every frame I create is made by a fan, for fans.
