About

How it all began at FAN-atic Frames!!

ARE YOU, OR IS SOMEONE YOU LOVE, A SPORTS FAN?
If so…
I can create any sports themed framed piece about that favorite team, whether it be football, baseball, basketball, hockey, Nascar, golf, etc. With hard work and special care, I can create a beautiful framed art-piece to hang on your wall to commemorate your favorite team. Was the ’55 Brooklyn Dodgers your father’s favorite team? Or was the ’69 or ’86 Mets the team that you grew up with …or was the 2004 Red Sox World Series win your wicked pleasure. Was the Superbowl 2007 Giants your favorite team of all time…was Dale Earnhardt your favorite Nascar driver…or are you thrilled by the basketball skills of LeBron James? I can design a piece of art work for you to put in your family room, your office, your bed room, your game room, your man cave…wherever you would like to hang it for optimum viewing.

FOOTBALL! BASEBALL! NASCAR! GOLF! HOCKEY!
…and more. That’s what Fan-atic Frames is all about. In 2003, my wife and I had our first child, and while I was working as a assistant store director for a large retail store, and she a high school math teacher, we really couldn't survive being a one salary family, so we both continued to work our full time jobs, while paying for daycare for our son.

Two years later, our second child was born, after which my wife had decided that she wanted to pursue her masters degree in Educational Administration. It was then decided that I would stay home and raise our 2 children. After a few months of being home, I realized I missed the interaction with adults that I had every day in the retail world. I had always been crafty and artistic, so I started thinking about doing something that would allow me to continue taking care of my children at home and still afford me the opportunity to work at something that included my passion of sports.

While strolling through the mall with my children one holiday season, I was trying to figure out what I was going to give to my brother for Christmas. You see, it had become a tradition that I would create or design some type of sports-themed gift around his favorite team, the St. Louis Rams. Now, it wasn't easy finding any sports memorabilia pertaining to the Rams here in NJ…so as luck would have it, I came upon a store that had the perfect item – it was a pennant that was taped onto mat board, along with about 10 football cards – also taped to the mat board – and framed for hanging on the wall. It was selling for a phenomenal price…and I wasn't impressed by the workmanship. Taping the pennant and cards to the board just ruined them…and that’s when I thought ‘I can do better than that’ … so I read everything I could find about the intricacies of mat cutting, bought myself a mat cutter, taught myself how to cut mats on my dining room table,…and soon “Fan-atic Frames” was born.

Now, 10 years later, countless craft shows all over the north east, and "FAN-ATIC'S" displaying my framed art in their homes and offices, I am ready to bring my work to the many sports "FAN-ATIC'S" here on ETSY.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept returns?

I have been in business selling my custom framed sports items for over 13 years on the web, both on ebay and most recently here on etsy, as well as being a crafter at over 30 craft shows a year in NJ, PA, NY, and DE, and in that time, I have never had anyone dislike my products, let alone ask to return one. It is for that reason, that I do not have a return policy and DO NOT TAKE RETURNS. Please look at the reviews buyers have left for me. Then, I ask that you look over the picture and description of the item your considering, and who it is intended for before making the purchase. If you have any questions, please ask. I pride myself on being honest and upfront with each customer and would not sacrifice my integrity for a sale.

Can you make any player?

I get this a lot. If there is a pennant or sign( Focal Point) for the player your inquiring about, and if I can acquire it, AND, if there are enough sports cards to make the piece, then yes! Please ask!!

Do I sell the pennants by themselves

Sorry, I do not.

I have my own cards, will you use them?

Unfortunately, I will not. The reason being that if they are scarce, or hard to find cards, and something was to happen to them, either in shipment to me, or in the item making process, and they can't be replaced, that's a situation I would not like to happen.

Do you sell the mattes empty and unframed so I can use my own cards?

Sorry I do not.
