A Brief History of the Hamster Forge Collaboration
A long time keeper of pet hamsters, Rynozerus is a crazy cat lady but with the small lovable rodents. Hamster Forge started as a placeholder name for the business, as we knew we wanted to have something unique and didn't want the usual 'something studios' or 'something designs'. We wanted a forge! A Hamster Forge.... Currently, Hamster Forge has a collection of original characters that each have a specific role in the Forge.
Hammer, the grumpy forge master
Anvil, the excitable second in command
Henri, the flamboyant perfumier
Janice, the social media socialite.
Ryn, the only non hamster of the forge, is a rhino-girl and hammer's personal gopher.
As time goes on, we intend to add merchandise (such as prints, stickers, pins and more featuring the hamsters of the Forge. Artwork is by Rynozerus.
We are always looking to add more products to our selection. The Forge has really allowed us to play with new materials and create projects that wouldn't have suited our personal business. This store is a real clash of the minds.
In our history:
Rynozerus is an artist and graphic designer. She has a 2:1 BA degree in graphic design, specialising in illustration from the University of Derby, UK.
The forge has been stoked and is ready to go!
