Ich zeichne schon seit meiner Kindheit gerne und bin so froh, dass meine Leidenschaft mit zunehmendem Alter immer größer wurde. Ich war noch nie auf einer Kunstschule, also hätte ich nie gedacht, dass meine Kunst gut genug wäre, um etwas aus mir zu machen.
Vor ein paar Jahren bekam ich mein erstes Kunsttablett. Es war mir fremd, da ich seit meiner Kindheit ein traditioneller Künstler war. Im Laufe der Zeit habe ich meine Fähigkeiten in der digitalen Kunst entwickelt und auf ein iPad Pro aufgerüstet, auf dem ich Procreate verwende, um meine Kunst zu erstellen. Ich zeichnete weiter, obwohl ich nicht viele Anhänger gewann, und fragte mich: Wie kann ich mit meiner Kunst noch weiter gehen?
Aufkleber! Ich gab nach und bestellte eine Cricut-Schneidemaschine und machte mich an die Arbeit. Nach einer gewissen Lernkurve hatte ich endlich die Fähigkeiten und Ressourcen, um meine Entwürfe zu zeichnen und ein greifbares Produkt zu schaffen. Mit mehr Zeit, Übung und Ermutigung konnte ich anfangen, das zu tun, was ich liebe, nicht nur als Hobby, sondern als Teilzeitkarriere.
Ich bin so froh, dass ich die Gelegenheit hatte, zu lernen, wie ich meine Ideen zum Leben erwecken kann, und dass ich die Unterstützung hatte, das zu tun, was ich gerne tue, und weiter zu gehen, als ich jemals zuvor gegangen bin.
I've loved drawing since I was little, and I'm so glad that my passion only grew as I got older. I've never been to art school, so I never thought my art would be good enough for me to make anything of myself.
A few years ago, I got my first art tablet. It was foreign to me, as I was a traditional artist since childhood. Over time, I developed my digital art skills and upgraded to an iPad Pro, where I use Procreate to make my art. I continued to draw, despite not gaining much of a following, and wondered: How can I go even farther with my art?
Stickers! I caved in and ordered a Cricut cutting machine and got to work. After a bit of a learning curve, I finally had the skills and resources to draw my designs and create a tangible product. With more time, practice, and encouragement, I was able to start doing what I love not only as a hobby, but as a part-time career.
I am so glad I've had the opportunities to learn to bring my ideas to life, and the support to do what I enjoy doing and go farther that I've ever gone before.
