Showcasing Sports History One Design at a Time
I founded Home Field Designs after being a Cleveland sports fan my entire life. I also have always enjoyed learning about the sports history in other cities.
The idea behind creating Home Field Designs came after reading an article of the greatest athletes of all time by uniform number. I immediately thought this idea would be perfect on a poster in a sports bar or someone’s man cave. I couldn’t stop thinking about it (mostly because I disagreed with some of the athlete choices made on the original design) and then thought that this concept could be replicated in most major US sports cities as well as printed on other products . From there I decided to give it a go on Etsy, and it's been a fun project to work on since my kids graduated from high school.
The products I sell are meant for sports fans who are proud of their roots and local teams. They want to show spirit for their city, teams and athletes through decorating their home, office or man cave with affordable artwork and products. These fans love not just their current teams and players, but the sports legends of the past that they grew up rooting for. My designs and merchandise are designed to spark nostalgia, rich memories and healthy sports debate among fans. It also allows fans to reminisce and learn about the teams, athletes and sports moments from their childhood through today.
