Hallo! Ich bin Architekt und male seit den 1980er-Jahren. Über 200 Bilder habe ich bereits geschaffen. Am liebsten male ich mit Öl auf Leinwand, seit Kurzem widme ich mich aber auch der Aquarellmalerei. Mein Stil wird als „extrem küstennah“ bezeichnet, was meine Liebe zur Küste Südkaliforniens und meine modernen, malerischen Interpretationen dieser Landschaft widerspiegelt. Meine Werke wurden bereits in Galerien und auf Kunstmessen in Kalifornien und Florida ausgestellt.
Ich bin auf einem Bauernhof in Chicago aufgewachsen und habe sowohl meinen Bachelor- als auch meinen Masterabschluss in Architektur an der University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana erworben. In den 1980er-Jahren zog ich nach Los Angeles und arbeitete über 30 Jahre als Principal und leitender Architekt bei Johnson Fain. Ich war verantwortlich für die Leitung von Teams bei mehreren bedeutenden Designprojekten in den USA und anderen Ländern wie China, Japan und Indonesien.
Seit meinem Ruhestand genieße ich das Malen und Unterrichten von Schülern im Raum Los Angeles. Ich besitze außerdem einen kleinen Weinberg, entwerfe und baue weiterhin Möbel und spiele Gitarre.

Hi! I'm an architect who began painting in the 1980's and have produced over 200 paintings. I like to paint oil on canvas but recently I have been also creating watercolor paintings. My style of painting has been labeled "extreme coastal" which refers to my love of the Southern California coast and my modern painting impressions of that environment. I have been featured in galleries and art fairs in California and Florida.
I grew up on a farm in Chicago, obtained both my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Architecture at the University of Illinois Champaign - Urbana. I moved to Los Angeles in the 1980's and worked at the firm of Johnson Fain as a Principal and Senior Architectural Designer for over 30 years. I was responsible for directing teams on several great design projects in the USA and other countries such as China, Japan, and Indonesia.
Now being retired I enjoy painting and teaching students in the Los Angeles area. I also have a small vineyard, continue to design and build furniture, and play guitar.
