    Hello, I'm Andie! I'm a full-time photographer, typography fanatic, designer, fabric collector, compulsive organizer, dreamer, and coffee enthusiast. If a genie could bestow some magical talents upon me, I'd be a tap dancer! Or a singer. I could eat tacos every single day. Gray IS a color - and it is my favorite :)

    I am the creator of Alphabet Photo Art™ ~ I create elegant custom artwork honoring and celebrating your biggest moments in life. When I first shared my whimsical custom alphabet photography years ago, I immediately made a sale half-way around the globe, a name frame for a sweet baby girl named Madeleine, and I knew I was on to something special! The joy of creating something that others will treasure is what inspires me most. Whether I'm designing a couple's new last name for their wedding day, a birth date print for a new baby, or a housewarming welcome gift, each keepsake is thoughtfully handcrafted by me in my Michigan studio with the recipient in mind. I will work with you from start to finish...from my hands to your home.

    I've always loved architecture, typography, and photography. I am equally drawn to elements that are rusty and weathered and those that are delicate and ornate. In particular, church architecture and forgotten downtown buildings tend to capture my imagination. I travel all over and photograph everywhere I go. Over the past several years, I’ve created my own ‘architecture font’ through the simplicity of black and white photographs.

    I like trees, a lot, so I utilize recycled packaging materials when I can and purchase quality frames from family-owned businesses who use sustainable wood and strive to reduce energy consumption and hazardous waste.

    I get asked a lot where the name 'Java Jane' comes from? It is my coffee junkie alter ego and an homage to the 'drink from the gods' and the one who gave my my first sip at age two: my dear beautiful grandma who is herself an artist, business owner, and dreamer. And yes, the coffee probably stunted my growth :)

    I have an amazing husband that gives me much comic relief and support on my weariest of days. He also gladly helps with projects that involve power tools. After 18 years, I am more in love every day…♥

    Can I see a proof before buying?

    For custom orders, unless stated otherwise in the description, I will send you a proof to review within 2 business days so that you can make any necessary changes prior to delivery.

    Please review your proof within 48 hours, if possible. Be sure to check your junk mail folder if you have not received a message from me within 3 business days of your order date.

    If I have not heard back from you at all on your design approval, I will contact you at least 4 times via the email addresses you provided to me via Etsy and through Etsy convos. After that, I will consider the design approved, and will ship your order as I have designed it.

    What is your turnaround time?

    Shipping time frames and price may vary for each individual item so please refer to the Shipping section within the item’s listing description for specifics. The stated time frame is how long it will take me to create the item and does not include delivery time.

    As soon as your order has shipped, I will send you a shipping update email via Etsy with a confirmation number. For orders already placed, you can check your order status here: www.etsy.com/your/purchases.

    Do you provide refunds?

    Because of the nature of custom orders and digital downloads, unless they arrive damaged or defective, refunds are only available in the following circumstances:

    For instant downloadable items, refunds are given if the file has not been downloaded.

    For custom designs, refunds are given if you cancel within 1 hour of purchasing and before I have begun work on the design.

    For damaged or defective items, please notify me within 3 days of receiving. Please keep the box and all the packaging materials. This is necessary for me to submit an insurance claim and for your order to qualify for a replacement.

    For stock items, exchanges may be given within 5 days of receiving item. You will be responsible for initial and return shipping.

    Shipping Costs

    A few items in my shop may be offered as both framed and unframed, however I am only able to give one shipping price in these listings, regardless of the item. In these cases, I have already adjusted the price of the unframed item to be lower to account for the higher shipping cost.

    Combined shipping costs will automatically be calculated for you during checkout for multiple items.

    Shipping costs include a tracking number for all items shipped within the US and an additional fee charged directly by Etsy.

    Terms of Use

    All items come with a non-exclusive limited use license. All items are for personal use and are not to be resold or distributed for free unless specifically stated otherwise in the listing description. The buyer may not alter or edit any graphic or file to create other items for sale.

    Custom designs created by me may be used in JavaJaneDesigns portfolios, advertising, and marketing materials. As a designer, I reserve the right to photograph, share, or sell again any design that originates as a custom order from my shop. JavaJaneDesigns remains the sole and exclusive owner and holder of all design copyrights.
