Hi! We’re Anna & James… also known as ‘Leave The Map’
Leave the Map™ as a name is all about leaving your comfort zone or stepping off the beaten path and living a life of adventure.
In 2019 we took a major leap and left our 9-5 jobs in Los Angeles to pursue a life of travel. We bought a camper van and have spent the last year exploring National Parks and hidden gems around the US and Canada. We’ve worked with some amazing brands such as, Marriott, Getty Images, Clif Bar, TOMS, Adobe, and more, all while living a life of freedom that WE chose.
Our full-time gig is working with travel businesses & tourism boards to tell their story and build brand awareness through powerful photography, video, and social media. We also teach creators and entrepreneurs how to take a major leap of their own into running their own business and working from anywhere in the world, a reality.
After a few months on the road, we were looking for something to do when we were hanging out at campsites or in areas of no cell service. I (Anna) picked up macrame, jewelry making, and went back to my original roots of graphic design and drawing. James has taken up fly tying, candle making, and bird watching.
Our hope with this little store is to bring our travels and our creations to your home. We plan to add more products each month as we expand our ideas and visions. We also hope to continue to meet other creators and feature them in our store.
