Pierre Auguste Renoir sagte einmal: "Für mich muss ein Bild etwas Angenehmes, Entzückendes und Hübsches sein - ja, hübsch. Es gibt genug unangenehme Dinge auf der Welt, ohne dass wir noch mehr produzieren." Persönlich neige ich dazu, dieser Philosophie zuzustimmen, also versuche ich mich in meiner eigenen Kunst darauf zu konzentrieren, Dinge zu malen und zu basteln, die ich "angenehm, entzückend und hübsch" finde: Dinge, die mich glücklich und friedlich fühlen lassen. Für mich sind einige der "entzückendsten" und "schönsten" Dinge auf dem Planeten in der Natur zu finden, so dass ein Großteil meiner Arbeit auf Dingen basiert, die ich in der Natur beobachtet habe. Ich mag besonders Vögel: die Texturen ihrer Federn, ihre lebendigen Farben und hübschen Muster und natürlich die süßen Lieder, die uns in den Sinn kommen, wenn wir an sie denken. Der leuchtend rote Blitz eines fliegenden Kardinals ist mir aufgefallen, seit ich ein kleines Kind war, und mit 4 Jahren zeichnete ich "Little Red Birds" überall!
Ich fühle, dass Kunst eine Möglichkeit ist, uns auf die Schönheit zu konzentrieren, die überall um uns herum ist, und jeder Mensch hat die Fähigkeit, diese Schönheit zu sehen und sie auf ihre eigene einzigartige Weise durch ihre Kunst und Kreativität zu teilen. Ich hoffe, dass Little Red Bird ein komfortabler, freundlicher Ort ist, an dem Menschen jeden Alters diese Kreativität in sich selbst finden und entfesseln und mit der Welt teilen können.
My name is Julianna. I have a Fine Arts degree and NY State Certification to teach art. I am excited to share my love of art and creativity with you.
Pierre Auguste Renoir once said: "For me a picture has to be something pleasant, delightful, and pretty -- yes, pretty. There are enough unpleasant things in the world without us producing even more." Personally, I tend to agree with this philosophy, so in my own artwork, I try to focus on painting and crafting things that I find "pleasant, delightful and pretty:" things that make me feel happy and peaceful. To me, some of most "delightful" and "prettiest" things on the planet are to be found in Nature, so much of my work is based in things I have observed in Nature. I especially like birds: the textures of their feathers, their vivid colors and pretty patterns, and of course, the sweet songs that come to mind when we think of them. The brilliant red flash of a flying cardinal has caught my eye since I was a little child, and by 4 years old, I was drawing "Little Red Birds" all over the place!
I feel that art is a way to focus us on the beauty that is all around us, and each person has the ability to see that beauty and share it in their own unique way through their art and creativity. I hope that Little Red Bird is a comfortable, friendly place where people of all ages can find and unleash that creativity in themselves, and share it with the world.
