Meagan did a wonderful job to make sure the painting was exactly what was wanted! Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Meagan did an amazing job! I bought this painting for my boyfriends parents for Christmas and they absolutely loved it. The amount of care and detail that was put into the painting, you can tell she’s really passionate about her art and wants everything to be perfect. I highly recommend ordering from Meagan and I can’t wait to order more.

Meagan did two amazing portraits for me - one of our mini-golden, Emily, as well as one of our home. Emily has a sweet smile Meagan was able to perfectly capture though she was working only from a photo and had not met her. Our home was beautifully depicted in great detail, especially given the brickwork. It reminds me so much of the house watercolors shown on one of my favorite shows, Home Town. I've included a picture of each.

Meagan was responsive and eager to make sure the pictures were up to her high standards. She packaged them thoughtfully and in pretty wrapping that conveyed how important they were to her and how much she knew they would mean to me.

Meagan creates wonderful keepsakes that make a special and unique gift - for yourself or someone else.

Meagan did a beautiful job on my commissioned piece of our first home! She was flexible about what I wanted the image to look like, while giving her the artistic liberty to make it look the best! I would highly recommend and will be using her in the future for house warming gifts. Her packaging was great and ensured that the painting wouldn’t bend with cute style and flair with an added personal thank you card! Paper was 9x12 and found that a floating frame that fits anything smaller than 11x15 fit it perfectly!

Meagan did an amazing job recreating our home. I commissioned the water color to give to my husband on the one year anniversary of moving in it! I imagine we will do one every few years as we make changes to customize our home!

This painting turned out perfect! I only had a fuzzy Zillow photo of my husbands childhood home and the end result was incredible. Such a beautiful painting and perfect Father’s Day gift 🎁 !

Mama's Need to Paint, Too!

All of my life I have loved to paint, but it wasn't until college that I became professionally trained as a painter. I graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA in 2015 with a BFA in Painting. I had a little experience with acrylics before school, but we were exclusively only allowed to use oils for the first two levels. After that I just became most comfortable with oils that I just stuck with it.

Only when I became pregnant with our first baby that I had to put down the oils, and decided to try to pick up watercolors because they're safer both while pregnant and around little ones. I'd be lying if I said I got a lot of painting done while I was pregnant... believe it or not, I didn't actually start painting with watercolors until my daughter turned 4 months old!

I found myself using similar techniques with watercolors as I would normally use with oils -- except going light to dark instead of my usual dark to light!

I'm loving my new world of watercolors and I'm excited to build a new portfolio to share with everyone.

Thanks for all of your support!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

All of my paintings are customized. I work from photos and can make some tweaks (i.e. adding plants to houses, placing an animal in a different setting, zooming in, removing objects, etc.). Photos sent need to be clear and as you’d like the position of the objects to be.

Sizing details

Currently, all paintings are 8x11 inches with 1/2 inch boarders (9x12 inch paper). I can do smaller dimensions than that upon request, however, the price right now does not change (please message me for more details!)

Care instructions

When I finish a painting, all of them are coated with a wax medium that helps protect against color fade from sun exposure. To ensure further protection, I ask my customers to not display artwork in an area where it will have direct sunlight for long periods of time.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All paintings are packaged in a clear sleeve with a card stock sheet and “thank you” card, then sealed shut. I also put that in a larger envelope for decorative purposes. If I’m hand-delivering your package that’s all it will be in, but if I’m mailing it to you, it will also go in a padded envelope from USPS.

Gift wrapping is not currently an option.
