To reduce environmental impact and increase the responsibility of this shop, I am now shipping with 100% recycled padded mailers. The padding is created from macerated newsprint (post-consumer) and is curbside recyclable as well as compostable (if packing tape is removed)

I am still shipping with packing slips on recycled paper but have reduced the size by 50%. And lastly, the felt pouches products are made of 100% post-consumer Recycled Polyester Bottles (Eco-Fi Craft Felt).

These are the best! These hold my hair without it coming down, they are extremely comfortable, the size and material used to craft these wonderful hair forks and hair holders is outstanding. Craftsman/seller super courteous and items arrived very fast. I have purchased form this seller in the past and have been using my old hair fork all this time. History and legacy

I am a designer and instrument maker. This shop started as an outlet to share objects that were created for either my wife, myself, family, or friends.

The wooden things in my shop are often made from remnants from the previous guitar builds. I believe that every piece of wood should be honored and deserves a chance at a second life. I feel a great responsibility to the material that I work with as it stood long before me and I hope it lived its full life before making it to my bench.

I also feel strongly that these objects should last lifetimes and I strive to create durable goods that will wear and tell a story when they are passed on to coming generations. I own and use my great grandfathers', grandfathers' and father's tools to create these objects. They are an extension of my history and hope to become part of yours.
