Es glitt durch den Morgentau, tanzte auf den Buntglasfenstern alter Kirchen und brach sich in Regenbögen, als die Wellen brachen – diese flüchtigen Augenblicke, atemberaubend schön und doch unmöglich festzuhalten.
Bis wir auf Glas stießen.
Und so entstand Olyth. Dieser Name ist unser sanfter Ruf und unsere Neuinterpretation von „Licht“. Unsere Mission ist es, Lichtkünstler zu sein, die mit ihren Händen und hohen Temperaturen jene unglaublich kostbaren Momente einfangen und sie in eine Ewigkeit verwandeln, die man tragen kann.
Jedes Stück beginnt mit einem feurigen Ursprung. In der 1300 °C heißen Flamme beginnt das ursprünglich harte Glasmaterial zu erweichen und zu fließen, wie ein gezähmter Lichtstrom. Wir blasen, formen und dehnen es, im Wettlauf gegen die Zeit in Sekundenschnelle. Dies ist nicht nur Handwerkskunst, sondern ein Ritual – die Versiegelung von immateriellem Licht, Schatten und Farbe in greifbaren Formen.
Unsere Designphilosophie entspringt der Resonanz von Natur und Emotionen. Vielleicht ist es das warme Gelb des baltischen Bernsteins, das Graublau des skandinavischen Winterhimmels oder das geheimnisvolle Violett der Nordlichter. Before everything began, there was light.
It passed through the morning dew, danced on the stained-glass windows of ancient churches, and refracted into rainbows at the moment the waves crashed – these fleeting moments, breathtakingly beautiful, yet impossible to hold onto.
Until we encountered glass.
And so, Olyth was born. This name is our gentle call and reimagining of "Light." Our mission is to be artisans of light, using our hands and high temperatures to capture those incredibly precious moments, solidifying them into an eternity you can wear.
Every piece begins with a fiery origin. In the 1300℃ flame, the originally hard glass material begins to soften and flow, like a tamed river of light. We blow, shape, and stretch, racing against time in mere seconds. This is not just craftsmanship, but a ritual – sealing intangible light, shadow, and color within tangible forms.
Our design philosophy stems from the resonance of nature and emotion.
