About Photo Toolkit
Photo Toolkit wurde von einem Fotografen für Fotografen, Künstler, Designer und kreative Kleinunternehmer entwickelt, die ihre Arbeiten ansprechend und professionell präsentieren möchten.
Ich arbeite seit 17 Jahren als professioneller Fotograf. Davor war ich als internationaler Marketingmanager und Produktspezialist für ein Unternehmen im Bereich Design- und Bildbearbeitungssoftware tätig. Diese Kombination aus kreativer, technischer und Marketingerfahrung hat meine Sicht auf visuelle Präsentation geprägt: Schöne Bilder sind wichtig, aber ebenso wichtig ist es, sie so zu präsentieren, dass sie die Fantasie anregen, eine Verbindung herstellen und zum Kauf animieren.
Photo Toolkit entstand eher zufällig. Ursprünglich hatte ich einen Etsy-Shop eröffnet, um einige meiner Reisefotografien zu verkaufen. Beim Erstellen meiner Angebote begann ich, Mockups für die Präsentation meiner Drucke anzufertigen. Aus einem Mockup wurden viele, und schon bald merkte ich, dass ich weit mehr erstellt hatte, als ich selbst benötigte.
Es kam mir etwas seltsam vor, sie alle für mich zu behalten, deshalb habe ich Photo Toolkit ins Leben gerufen, um diese Ressourcen mit anderen Kreativen wie mir zu teilen.

I’ve been working as a professional photographer for 17 years, and before that I spent my career as an international marketing manager and product specialist for a design and photo-editing software company. That mix of creative, technical, and marketing experience has shaped the way I think about visual presentation: beautiful images matter, but so does showing them in a way that helps people imagine, connect, and buy.
Photo Toolkit began almost by accident. I originally opened an Etsy shop to sell some of my own travel photography, and as part of creating my listings, I started making mockups to display my prints. One mockup turned into many, and before long I realised I had created far more than I needed for myself.
It felt a little silly to keep them all tucked away, so I started Photo Toolkit as a way to share these resources with other creatives like myself.
