About the Farm....
Our farm was established in the fall of 2002. We lovingly raised a herd of Huacaya alpaca and a handful of fine CVM x Lincoln sheep in Kansas, southwest of the Kansas City metro area until late 2022. I am not an alpaca purist....I like all fiber and blending of fibers….really enjoy meeting other fiber enthusiasts and learning new skills. I work with commercial production of alpaca fiber as roving, yarn and in end products.
I have roving, yarn, and some raw fleece of my alpaca and sheep available for purchase. Some are luxury high end blends with very fine alpaca, sheep wool, yak, silks, bamboo, mohair, Angora bunny, camel down and other luxury fibers. Some of my yarns and rovings are dyed and some are completely natural. My roving and most of my yarn is commercially processed, at small family run mills, with a few exceptions....which are my own hand spun yarns. I sort / grade my fiber, so the quality of the roving and yarn is superior. Properly sorted and graded fiber results in a higher quality end product / garment and a more enjoyable experience working with the fiber.
