Hej! Jag heter Ivy och är butiksägare och skapare av Ruby & Mathilda Vintage.
Ruby & Mathilda erbjuder autentisk, bärbar och prisvärd vintage, med mångsidighet och variation i åtanke. Vi gör vårt bästa för att ge en positiv upplevelse med bra service, säker frakt och transparent kommunikation.
Ruby och Mathilda är min gammelmormor och andra gammelmormor. Mathilda, dotter till en bonde, var en ung kvinna vid sekelskiftet och såg uppfinningarna av telefonen, elektriciteten och radion. Ruby, hennes dotter, växte upp som ung flicka under den stora depressionen och upplevde andra världskrigets kaos som krigshustru. Dessa kvinnor representerar sin tids kvinnor: starka, hårt arbetande och motståndskraftiga.
Vi älskar vintage eftersom det berättar en historia – dessa föremål kan tala på sitt eget sätt, man behöver bara lyssna. Vi köper främst in varor från den viktorianska eran till 1940-talet, men kan ha enstaka nyare (fortfarande begagnade eller NOS) föremål som behåller det tidlösa utseendet hos äldre, autentiska föremål. I vår butik hittar du några av de charmiga vintageföremål vi har samlat, noggrant reparerade, varsamt rengjorda, fotograferade och listade, redo att bli avgudade igen. Hello! My name is Ivy, the shop owner and creator of Ruby & Mathilda Vintage.
Ruby & Mathilda offers authentic, wearable and affordable vintage, with versatility and diversity in mind. We do our best to provide a positive experience with great service, safe shipping and transparent communication.
Ruby & Mathilda are my great-grandmother and 2nd great-grandmother. Mathilda, the daughter of a farmer, was a young woman at the turn of the century, seeing the inventions of the telephone, electricity and radio. Ruby, her daughter, grew up as a young girl during the Great Depression and experienced the turmoil of WWII as a war wife. These women represent the women of their time: strong, hardworking and resilient.
We love vintage because it tells a story - these items can speak in their own way, you just have to listen. We source primarily from the Victorian era to the 1940's, but may have an occasional newer (still secondhand or NOS) piece that retains the timeless look of older, authentic items. In our shop you will find some of the charming vintage items we've gathered, carefully repaired, gently cleaned, photographed and listed, ready to be adored once again.
