I paint what I see, and use my imagination to keep it interesting!
I have been a professional full-time watercolorist for 25 years, and painting is my passion. I love to capture the world around me with intense and evolving color, for the beauty of the world is fascinating. I typically travel the country exhibiting at fine art shows, and have had the distinct pleasure to meet lovers of art from all walks of life. My watercolor genres usually include colorful landscapes that capture small nuances of nature, city life that contain imagery of the fast paced lifestyle of vibrant urban communities, florals, and abstract designs.
I have a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Atlanta, and enjoyed life for a time as a graphic designer. I left the corporate ranks and joined the art world as a full-time artist. I have a partner in this artistic endeavor, and she is my wife Michele. I have two artsy daughters, who also have the gift of drawing their world. One is an aspiring veterinarian, and the other, I think is following in her dad's painting footsteps.
My work has been featured on ABC tv shows Uncle Buck and For Life, CBS’s Hawaii 5-0, The Odd Couple, the Unicorn, Bounce TV, NBC’s Chicago P.D. and New Amsterdam. This would also include Fox's Our Kind of People, the Netfix series, Grand Army, as well as the comedy Here Today starring Tiffany Haddish, the New Home Alone movie, Raising Kanan, Shrinking, and numerous other tv shows and movies. I have created original murals for the Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint Restaurant located in downtown Atlanta, as well as Farm Burger Restaurant located in Atlanta's exclusive Buckhead area. My art is also a part of corporate collections of Verizon Communications, Nationwide Insurance, and Liberty Bank.
Along with my watercolors listings, you may see abstracts and decorative pillow covers, which are all a favorite among my art collectors.
