Shop policies
Second Home is a collection of loved vintage items awaiting to find a new homes, their second homes, where they can be used and enjoyed again and again. Each piece has its own unique history, its wear and tear tell a story of its past.
Find pieces to add to your collections or special one offs to give as thoughtful gifts.
All items come from a smoke free, but pet friendly household. Our little dog Button insists on having a sniff.

Accepted payment methods
Returns & exchanges
Payment
• We only accept Paypal as a form of payment
• Paypal payment is due within 48 hours of purchase or item will relisted. If you experience any problems with making payment please contact us and we will try to assist you.
Reserving items
• We are happy to put items on hold, please send a message to request.
• Items reserved for 3 days
• Please do not buy items that are listed as reserved unless they are reserved for you. If you purchase an item that has been reserved for someone else, the sale will be cancelled.
With any sale item the list prices that appear in the shop have already been marked down.
Shipping
• Within 5 Working days after cleared payment
Combined Postage
• We do adjust rates for combined shipping once we know what's in the order. Please contact us prior to payment so we can create a listing or adjust the invoice for the right amount!
• If payment of more than £1 is made over actual shipping costs, a refund via paypal will be given for the difference minus any cost of packaging.
• UK customers pay no more than £4.99 for combined postage, any overpayment will be refunded via paypal.
Packing Materials
• We use new materials to pack all items. Items are wrapped in white acid-free tissue paper with the exception of postcards that are placed in a paper bag with card to prevent bending. Goods, if needed, are then wrapped in bubble wrap and dispatched in either cardboard boxes padded out with extra brown paper, jiffy bags or grey mailers.
Insurance or other delivery service
• If you require insurance or a different delivery service please contact us.
Domestic Postage:
Your order will be sent by either
• Royal First Class - Delivery usually within 3-5 working days
• Collect Plus - Delivery usually within 3-5 working days with tracking number.
International Postage:
• Royal Mail Airmail
• Delivery usually from 5 working days, however please allow up to 20 working days after your item has been dispatched.
Buyer is responsible for any duties, customs and taxes levied by their individual countries.
We include an invoice with every order, if you are giving an item as a gift, please let us know.
