Hello,
My name is Yeliz, which means bright and beautiful. I got married at an early age and today I am a mother of four children. I grew up in a society where men were responsible for the household income in Anatolia. Women used to live as housewives. I was also one of them, until my husband became ill with kidney disease and couldn't work anymore.
For years, as a woman, a mother and a wife, I worked in a weaving workshop doing towel weaving to support our family. However, I couldn't bear the increasing cost of living anymore, so I decided to start my own business. I thought I could reach more people by making towels with my own designs and in the colors I wanted, and I set up a small but very beautiful workshop in the basement of our house.
I have delivered various sizes of Turkish towels, Turkish hand towels, or Turkish Blankets to many parts of our country that I produced here. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I met Etsy, where I could sell my hand-woven towels. I realized that Etsy was the most beautiful and right place for my handmade towels.
After determining the patterns of the designs I will weave, I choose the colors and complete the weaving on my weaving machine. Then, my daughter Zeynep does the quality controls and my son Kadir helps me with packaging and shipping.
In addition to the towels with existing designs and colors in my Etsy shop, I can also make special designs for you. If you want a towel in the color, pattern, or size you want, I can make it for you. Also, I can personalize your towels and embroider names on them for your special occasion days as wedding gift, bachelor party favors, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, housewarming parties.
