Welcome to my Sanibel Shell Studio
Ich bin eine Küstenkünstlerin und durchstreife mit meinem Mann Kevin die Strände von Sanibel Island, um jede einzelne Muschel für meine Kunstwerke von Hand zu sammeln. Vom Strandspaziergang bei Sonnenaufgang bis zum letzten Anstrich – jede Meerjungfrau, jedes Seepferdchen, jeder Delfin, jeder Spiegel, jede Schattenbox, jede Ananas, jede Schildkröte und jeder Blumenstrauß wird komplett von mir gefertigt.
Ich verwende echte Jakobsmuscheln, Wellhornschnecken, Muschelschalen und Treibglas – keine Formen, keine Fabriken. Die Farben sind natürlich oder dezent verstärkt, um ihre Schönheit des Meeres hervorzuheben. Jede Muschel erzählt eine Geschichte.

I’m a coastal artisan walking the shores of Sanibel Island with my husband Kevin to hand-collect every shell used in my art. From sunrise beachcombing to final seal coat, each mermaid, seahorse, dolphin, mirror, shadowbox, pineapple, turtle and bouquet is made entirely by me.
I use real scallops, whelks, coquinas, and sea glass — no molds, no factories. The colors are natural or gently enhanced to show off their ocean beauty. Every shell has a story.
