I have always loved the valuable sentiment behind items of the past. Gramma’s jewelry, silverware, and china are all part of us. In my endeavor to promote that sentiment I have created many special jewelry, and wearable pieces for you in the forms of rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants, pins, and even some home decor items. My hope is that when you see the piece either on yourself or wall or shelf that you think back and remember the special times with your loved ones. There are parts of our past experiences that should be remembered and treasured. In my 24 years of making Spoon/Silverware Jewelry and Home Decor I have had the honor of sharing many people’s pasts. Preserving history through spoon/silverware jewelry.

As the child of a very creative mother, she hand stitched my Barbie Doll clothes when I was little, I can not help but want to create. It is in my blood. And being the sloppy sentimental romantic that I am, I decided to put my efforts into an area of reality that I have come to understand and value so much in the past 20 years. I really miss my mom, aunts, and grandmothers. Having very little to remind me of all the wonderful times together, I decided to try and resolve that problem for myself as well as for others. When I wear a piece of jewelry made from a spoon that I know was my grandmothers pattern, even {if it was not actually from her silverware boxed set}, it takes me back to the love I felt being with her. I focus on many family mealtimes at Christmas that took place at her house in Colorado. I do not want those memories to fade and when they are refreshed through repurposing I am touched with joy. My wish for you is that you find this joy also.
