Recently, I’ve started volunteering with The World Needs More Love Letters, a community built on the idea that words can heal, uplift, and connect people when they need it the most. I make and send cards through their letter-requests program, responding to stories of everyday people facing hard things — loss, illness, struggle — and who deserve a reminder that someone cares.
My “why” is this: in the rush of our own lives, we often forget how far a simple message of kindness can go. For me, being a mom taught me how powerful it is when a child feels seen; this work offers a chance to make others feel seen too. To brighten someone’s day, and to remind them they're not alone. Because in the end, connection matters.
