It solved my exact problem needing to prevent certain switches from being touched so it’s always be on. Great for smart home setups, i mounted a battery operated switch over the plate, so the hardwired switch remains on, allowing me to use the smart switch and phone to control my devices anytime.

This is a high quality product. It fits perfect over the existing wall switch and looks great. I ordered one to try out and then ordered several more.
