Extraordinary Jewelry, Gemstones and Home Decor - Over 20 to 120 yrs. old.
9/2023: I am offering Objet D'Art here that will always be beautiful. When a special Object finds a spot on your coffee table it will always catch your eye and give you joy. A fine piece of jewelry offers assurance...and attention, admiration.
I've been on Etsy since 2012. Now I am seriously aging and I am must downsize. I am offering some of the especially fine items that have been my good fortune to enjoy. I continue to enjoy the conversations and connections made with Buyers and Browsers here on Etsy. I have family records and research each item.
Dare to be different with a piece of Fine Colorful High Karat Gold Modernist Jewelry!
These are Special Vintage 1980's designs by Carl Lewis Druckman.
Studio CLD came into being in 1985 with the fabrication of a few jewelry designs by Carl Lewis Druckman-GIA-GG. I began as the chief bookkeeper and Inventory slave! And Carl became a published award winner in 1989 into the 90s. He passed in 1996.
Now, I am the sole owner, Susan. I no longer produce jewelry except as a VERY special order from his portfolio of designs. I also sell Mid-Century Studio jewelry by renowned American, Scandinavian and Mexican Silversmiths.
I am gradually releasing original jewelry, Gemstone Mineral Cabochons, Beads and Natural Faceted Stones from the 1980's and 1990's - All considered Vintage on Etsy. A few Designs are Prototypes and all are made in 14k, 18k Gold or .925 Sterling Silver. All were produced in limited numbers.. These are Not pre-owned.
Please see www.carllewisdruckman.org - "THE ART OF CARL LEWIS DRUCKMAN" to see his resume and other much published pieces. Over the years 2 Designs have gone on loan to museum exhibits in various cities. If one of his color-full pieces appeals to you, let me know. I can give you the details, move it into this shop and with more photo details. Carl's designs are timeless, versatile FINE JEWELRY. He had great fun designing and working with the best Lapidaries & Jewelers/Metalsmiths. He was GIA trained, tested and a Graduate. His passion for American Indian Metalwork and "Studio Jewelry" began when he was about 10. There was no question "what will I be when I grow up?"...he knew! He was blessed with a keen eye.
I look forward to your visits to STUDIO CLD and to talking to you.
