Reviving the dream
After finishing my Geography degree in 2017 I was yearning for a new creative output. My illustration had taking a side step during my studies, and I'd always been a lover of colourful stationery and home goods, so I knew I wanted to start designing and get some of my work out there.
The Lazy Lemon was born in November 2017, where I sold enamel pins, notepads, stickers, notebooks and much more.
The shop was a saviour for me during the pandemic, as my full time work ended abruptly, so my little passion project grew and evolved as I had the time to dedicate to it. However in 2021 I moved to Sweden, and after trying for a couple of years, and 1,142 sales I finally accepted that The Lazy Lemon could no longer continue due to logistical reasons.
Holly Jane Studio is the new home for all past customers of The Lazy Lemon, and how I can revive my dream of creating colourful stationary! :) It's quite daunting starting again but I'm excited, and I hope you enjoy my little corner of Etsy!
