Der Comfy Patch entstand aus dem wahren Leben – genauer gesagt, aus dem Leben als Mutter von drei Mädchen, die ständig unter kratzenden Etiketten, rauen Nähten und unangenehmen Stellen in ihrer Kleidung litten. Nachdem ich jede erdenkliche Lösung ausprobiert hatte (und viele davon erfolglos blieben), wusste ich, dass es eine bessere Lösung geben musste.

Was 2016 als einfache Idee begann – etwas Weiches auf die reizenden Stellen aufzutragen – entwickelte sich zu einem Weg voller Versuche, Irrtümer und Beharrlichkeit. Es gab einige Fehlversuche, aber das Comfy Patch ist das Produkt, das schließlich funktioniert.

Die spätere Diagnose einer sensorischen Verarbeitungsstörung half dabei, viele dieser Herausforderungen zu verstehen – und verdeutlichte, wie wichtig kleine Komfortlösungen sein können.

Seit über 10 Jahren gehört The Comfy Patch zu unserem Alltag – wir nutzen es täglich zu Hause. Ich hatte schon lange darüber nachgedacht, es mit anderen zu teilen, und habe mich nun endlich dazu entschlossen, es mehr Familien zugänglich zu machen.

The Comfy Patch was born out of real life—specifically, life as a mom to three girls who were constantly bothered by itchy tags, rough seams, and uncomfortable spots in their clothes. After trying every solution I could find (and plenty that didn’t work), I knew there had to be a better way.

What started as a simple idea in 2016—adding something soft to the areas that irritate—turned into a journey of trial, error, and persistence. There were a few failed versions along the way, but The Comfy Patch is the one that finally worked.

A later diagnosis of sensory processing disorder helped make sense of so many of those challenges—and reinforced just how important small comfort solutions can be.

For over 10 years, The Comfy Patch has been part of our everyday life—we use it daily in our own home. I had thought about sharing it with others for years, and finally decided to take the leap into bringing it to more families.

Now, I’m so excited to share The Comfy Patch with you—an easy and comfortable solution to everyday clothing annoyances.
