Fashion Designer for Dogs
Back in 2007, I started making martingale collars, just as a hobby, for my Weimaraner puppy, Noodles. I had found it pretty difficult to find martingales with unique designs, and because I love to sew, I began to make the collars myself. Eight years later, I am now making these fantastic pet accessories as my full-time job!
Each collar I design and create is made with meticulous attention to detail. From the hardware to the trims, each piece shares the same fate: quality finished product.
This quality is owed in large part to - you guessed it - materials! In fact, many of the ribbons that I use are imported from Europe. They have a really interesting design aesthetic, so it makes for far more unique collars. The designs are woven into the ribbon, not printed, so they will hopefully last longer.
Where would each of these components be without quality craftsmanship? Not here! I am unusually O.C.D. with the quality (Love!) of the sewing that goes into each and every piece I create! I want you to be thrilled with the collar you get from The Mod Dog; I want you to feel your pet is special, because they really are.
