One of a kind paper mache & mixed-media art

Welcome in the magic world of paper mache

Na mijn opleiding Visuele communicatie begon ik in 1989 als een freelance grafisch ontwerpster en illustrator. Ik werkte voor tijdschriften, kranten uitgeverijen en reclamebureaus. Als moeder van twee kids en het freelance ontwerpster, begon ik ook te schilderen. Het schilderen gaf me veel voldoening en plezier.

Geleidelijk kwam de focus steeds meer op ruimtelijke werk te liggen.
Papier pulp is een tamelijk goedkoop boetseer materiaal. Maar de resultaten zijn geweldig en de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos.
Omdat er behoefte was om kleinere details te verwerken in mijn werk, gebruik ik ook klei als boetseer materiaal.
Papier mache en klei blijken een prima match samen.

Momenteel werk ik parttime als thuiszorg medewerkster en de overige tijd breng ik veelal door in mijn atelier.
