Sizing details
Sizing is available on select rings in our shop. We recommend for most rings that the sizing should only be a maximum of two sizes (up or down) however some rings can accommodate more. All repair and alteration work is performed on-site by our skilled goldsmith.
Listing item prices do not include any alterations; please message us prior to purchase for a confirmed estimate. (Buyer is responsible for providing an accurate finger size, and Studio136 is not responsible for discrepancies caused by incorrect finger sizing.)
Care instructions
Jewellery care is important to keep pieces in good repair so that they can be enjoyed for many years to come, and become treasured family heirlooms. It is not recommended to wear jewellery while showering, swimming or doing chores as some chemicals are very harsh on gold (even if they are safe for our skin!). Some gemstones are more delicate and require extra care, such as pearls or opals. We recommend visiting www.GIA.edu for specific instructions and avoidances.
It is good practice to have pieces inspected by a local jewellery at least once per year to confirm that any stones and settings are secure. Most jewellers offer this at no cost.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about your purchase, please don't hesitate to ask!
Gift wrapping and packaging
Orders will be processed as quickly as possible after the cancellation period of 12 hours has concluded, within 1-2 business days. Your purchase will be cleaned and packaged securely for shipping. Packaging varies slightly depending on the item purchased. Your package will be shipped with tracking provided.
Gift wrapping is available at checkout. Pieces will be cleaned and packaging in a lovely box, then wrapped in high quality paper and a bow. If you have specific styles or colours you would like for the gift wrapping, just ask! We have many options available.
Item origins
As a licensed pawnbroker and gold buyer, all of our inventory is purchased locally from our clients. Only the finest vintage and antique pieces are offered on our Etsy store. We do our best to research all pieces fully, to include any relevant history such as place of manufacture, age of the piece and designers. Some pieces may have less information available than others, but we provide anything that we can determine with confident research.
