Transient Books is a family owned, full-service bindery that specializes in heirloom quality, hand crafted guest books, travel journals and gift notebooks for every occasion. You can either choose from our ideas, or bring your own to the table. We hand sew and hand bind every one of our books from start to finish right here, in house. We guarantee our books' excellence, functionality and implicit joy. Besides, Transient Books simply has the best customer service on the planet.
Since my husband and I met, our passion for travel, books, and music has defined our path. From hand-sewing our first folios while living on a boat in Alaska, to launching Transient Books online in 2001, we're so grateful that our journey, rooted in both Oregon and Argentina, connects us with the best side of humanity: we get to help people bring their ideas for books, and for unique gifts, to life. We get to see humans be thoughtful towards other humans, or towards themselves and their dreams, all day, every day. It is an honor. And it gives us hope for humanity. Each page on our work table links cultures, celebrates individuality, and embodies our dedication to the joyful impact of crafting with care and compassion.
