Me encantan los viajes largos, los paisajes cambiantes y los sonidos y olores en tierras remotas. La naturaleza primitiva en Oregón fácilmente lleva a mi mente a imaginar el Oeste como era hace muchos años. Gran parte del proceso en mi trabajo recuerda a la simplicidad de los primeros mineros de mano y de la joyería artesanal de los nativos americanos. La impresionante belleza de Oregon Sunstones posee un encanto que es fácil de observar y rápido para convertirse en un favorito. He caído cautivo de esta encantadora y multifacética joya de nuestro estado y aún no me he llenado.
Soy minero, platero y joyero de banco. Mi trabajo comienza en la mina Sunstone en el sur de Oregón, el trabajo físico en condiciones difíciles contrasta perfectamente con la selección precisa de las mejores piedras para facetar en mi estudio. Me gusta colocar las gemas versátiles en metales preciosos y combinarlas con otras joyas y perlas de cortesía. Mi colección de joyas abarca desde lo clásicamente sutil hasta lo excepcionalmente vanguardista. Los diseños están inspirados en la naturaleza, el carácter de cada gema única y el tono en mi corazón. Me encanta que mi proceso hecho a mano sea visible en las piezas terminadas de arte de joyería.
Estoy apasionada y completamente involucrada en todos los aspectos de este negocio con prácticas responsables al extraer las piedras preciosas de la tierra, hasta aplicar meticulosamente el pulido final en un conjunto de aretes de dama de honor. Disfruto de todo corazón ayudando a mis clientes a seleccionar las joyas que más les hablan. Es mi amor y pasión estar involucrado en esta industria y tallar mi nicho ha sido increíblemente satisfactorio.

I love long drives, changing landscapes, and the sounds and smells in remote lands. The primitive nature in Oregon easily leads my mind to imagine the West as it was many years ago. Much of the process in my work is reminiscent of the simplicity of the early hand miners and of the artisanal jewelry of The Native Americans. The stunning beauty of Oregon Sunstones possess an allure that is easy to observe and quick to become a favorite. I have fallen captive to this enchanting, multi-faceted jewel of our state and I have yet to get my fill.
I am a miner, silversmith and bench jeweler. My work begins at the Sunstone mine in Southern Oregon, the physical work in rugged conditions stands in perfect contrast to precisely selecting the best stones for faceting in my studio. I enjoy setting the versatile gems into precious metals and combine them with other complimentary jewels and pearls. My jewelry collection ranges from the classically subtle to uniquely edgy. The designs are inspired from nature, the character of each unique gem, and the tone in my heart. I love for my hand crafted process to be visible in the finished pieces of jewelry art.
I am passionately and completely involved in every aspect of this business with responsible practices when mining the gemstones from the earth, to meticulously applying the final polish on a set of bridesmaid earrings. I wholeheartedly enjoy helping my customers select jewelry that most speaks to them. It is my love and passion being involved in this industry and carving my niche has been incredibly satisfying.
