2021 Challenge: Don't Buy Any More Beads!
After going through my stash recently, I came to the conclusion that I might have too many beads! Is that possible? In an effort to find out, I have decided to resolve not to buy any more beads in 2021. Instead, each week I will be randomly selecting one of the (count 'em) 75 shoeboxes of beads to make at least one project with--more if I'm inspired! (By the way, the 75 does NOT count findings, stampings, rhinestones, paints & glitter, chain, etc.)
I've always been obsessed with making stuff. When I was very young I'd send away my kindergarten friends who wanted to come and play because I had a project I wanted to work on. I made my first jewelry sale at recess in 6th grade, and went through several other creative phases (including sewing wedding dresses and costumes) before deciding that making jewelry is my very favorite! Now our little house is half covered in supplies and projects in varying degrees of completion (from idea dishes to two things that look cool together but what it's supposed to be still undetermined, to nearly done--lost count after 50+), and I still would rather stay at home and create than be "social."
