Jeans werden recycelt, um sie vor Mülldeponien zu schützen und gleichzeitig dem Planeten zu helfen. Der Name Augsborn setzt sich aus August und Born zusammen. Meine ganze Familie ist im August geboren, ebenso wie mein Geburtstag. Ich bin Kinderbuchautorin und Illustratorin der Bücher Bog and Hodge's Great Adventure und Bog and Hodge Captured... erhältlich bei Amazon. Ich lasse mich sehr von meiner Großmutter inspirieren. Sie hat tolle Quilts genäht. Sie hat jedes Quadrat von Hand zusammengenäht. Sie hat einen Präsidentenquilt mit mehreren Präsidentenköpfen darauf gemacht. Sie hat auch Kleider und Puppenkleider für meine Schwester und mich genäht. Ich lasse mich auch sehr von meinem Vater inspirieren, da er aus Schrott ein Kunstwerk machen kann. Er nimmt alte Aktenschränke und Dieseltanks und macht daraus Räucheröfen/Grills. Nachdem er das Metall geschnitten, geschliffen und zusammengeschweißt hat, nimmt er seine Airbrush und malt wirklich coole Kunstwerke darauf. Ich liebe Kunst und Nähen wirklich sehr und möchte meine Kreationen mit Ihnen teilen! Ich hoffe, Sie haben Freude daran :)
Upcycling Jeans to keep them out of landfills all while helping the planet. The name Augsborn came from August and born put together. All of my family is born in the month of August along with my Anniversary. I am a children’s Author and Illustrator of the book’s Bog and Hodge's Great Adventure and Bog and Hodge Captured...available on Amazon. I get a lot of my inspiration from my Grandmother. She use to sew amazing quilts. She would hand stitch each one of the squares. She made a presidential quilt with several of the presidents heads on it. She would also sew my sister and I dresses to wear and doll clothes. I also get a lot of inspiration from my father as he can take junk and turn it into an art piece. He takes old file cabinets and diesel tanks and turns them into smokers/Grills. After he cuts, grinds and welds the metal together he then takes his air brush and paints really cool art on them. I really love art and sewing and I want to share my creations with you! I hope you enjoy them :)
