Caritas Dei, LLC Supplies exists to share quality supplies for your devotional creations. It is my hope that the religious medals inspire a love for God and the Catholic Church and devotion to God, the Blessed Mother, and the Saints in the lives of those who wear them and those who see them. Encouraging prayer and devotional use in peoples lives strengthens Catholic identity. It is prayer where we encounter the love of God, and by receiving His God, we can't help but share that love with the world. The world needs this Love!

About the Shop Name:
"Caritas Dei" means the charity (perfect love) of God. God invites us to a relationship with Him. Personal prayer is our response to that invitation. It is a drawing near to the heart of God where we express our love for Him and allow ourselves to be loved by Him. In the words of St. Catherine of Siena, “Charity is the sweet and holy bond which links the soul with its Creator: it binds God with man and man with God." Pope Francis said, “It is more difficult to let God love us than to love Him! The best way to love Him in return is to open our hearts and let Him love us... Let Him draw close to us and feel Him close to us. This is really very difficult: letting ourselves be loved by Him. And that is perhaps what we need to ask today ... ‘Lord, I want to love You, but teach me the difficult science, the difficult habit of let ting myself be loved by You, to feel You close and feel Your tenderness ! May the Lord give us this grace.”

About the Supplies:
BRONZE:
Each bronze piece is hand cast in the USA. It is true bronze made of a blend of copper and tin.

STERLING SILVER:
Each sterling silver piece is hand cast in the USA. Each piece is oxidized, having an old-world look. Sterling silver is a minimum 92.5% silver and 7.5% by mass of other metals. These medals are cast using silver casting grain , with at least the 92.5 minimum of silver and then copper. The copper used in alloying our sterling silver is 99.9% pure and oxygen-free.

WHITE BRONZE:
A few pieces are available in white bronze which is approximately 75% zinc, 20%+copper, 2-3% manganese, and 1-2% nickel. The high zinc, manganese, and nickel give it the silver color and the copper color is suppressed by the other three metals. Depending on lighting it can have a slight yellow tint.

VINTAJ NATURAL BRASS:
These findings are cast and finished in the USA! Natural brass is 85% copper and 15% zinc and is not antique plated. It is nickel and lead free. They go beautifully with the replica medals and rosary parts.
