wanna know why i started dots of sugar? Being a single mom to two beautiful girls i wanted (needed) a way choose my own hours so I could continue to be the stay at home mom, become a working mom, and juggle all life was throwing at me and still live happily. i needed to own my own business. we started with custom jewelry and over the years it has all just came together and fit so naturally in my life it was just meant to be, a HUGE gift from the universe and i am so eternally grateful.
more about me: i have always been crafty, i love painting and creating, one day a friend of mine told me about Etsy and I was scrolling through looking for a gift for my mom’s birthday. After saying “i could make that” about 200 times, i set out on my mission. about $900 in supplies later (not even exaggerating either) i sat down at my kitchen table and stamped my first piece of jewelry and that was it, i knew what i was going to do. in march 2013 i began production and opened dots of sugar.
