Frequently asked questions
"What's the deal with the tracking?" or, "Help, my order is stuck in pre-transit!"
Domestic orders are shipped via USPS First-Class Letter, which normally has no tracking. The "tracking info" you see on Etsy for this type of mail is provided by third-party logistics company Pitney Bowes, not the USPS, and it's only a scattershot estimate based on data from USPS processing centers. Often the information is very inaccurate, marking items as "delivered" days early or never updating past the "pre-transit" stage.
If you'd like to have actual door-to-door tracking from the USPS, select the "Tracked Shipping" upgrade at checkout and I'll send your order via USPS Ground Advantage instead. It'll cost a few extra bucks, but might be worth it if you'd rather not stress.
With that said: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS GETTING LOST IN THE MAIL
While the standard tracking information can be imprecise, if it says anything other than "pre-transit," that means the item shipped. Once it's in the mail, there's nothing I can do. Please be careful to ensure that your delivery address is accurate and your order doesn't get thrown out by mistake.
The packaging I use is small and discreet, so please check carefully for it, especially if you get a lot of junk mail. Be on the lookout for a little white cardboard mailer about the size of a postcard with an alias in the return address.
You can always reach out to me if you have any questions. Thanks for understanding!
