I was browsing through Lena's Etsy store when I stumbled upon the perfect gift for a friend... one little catch, it was already sold! so, knowing what a dedicated Etsian and gracious person Lena was, I asked her for a special custom order of this sold out necklace. Without even a second word, Lena drove an hour out of town JUST TO FIND THE MATERIALS FOR THE NECKLACE!!! I was completely floored that she had gone so far out of her way for me. THIS IS TRUE DEDICATION TO THE CRAFT!!! The item came beautifully packaged in one of kind wrapping, perfect for gift giving! Thank you a bagillion times Lena!!! You are truly and without doubt, the BEST!

This necklace's sleek simplicity is what initially drew me to it. The beaded necklace is so slender and flexible that it resembles a chain, especially in the way it drapes around the neck. The colors are the perfect blend of muted forest green and weathered bronze, which for me, paints an image of an old temple long forgotten in the forests of Japan. The highlight, a large olive colored swarovski cube, perfectly illuminates this piece, resembling the hidden treasure found amongst ancient moss covered ruins, totally bringing it to then next level. I don't think i will ever find a line of jewelry, or a jewelry maker for that matter, who can tell a story through each piece as brilliantly as Lena Sekine! Once again, Thank you so much Lena!!!

This piece is a total SHOWSTOPPER if I ever saw one!! The pendant is what initially drew me to the necklace, since Ive never seen anything like it before. I've always loved the innovative "curtain" design that Ive seen in some of Lena's women's jewelry, and once I saw this in a men's piece I didn't need to think twice about purchasing it! Upon arrival, I must say I was STUNNED. The pendant is even MORE magnificent in person, and it just immediately catches your attention, and in a WONDERFUL WAY! This is an "all eyes on me" piece, perfect for parties and the night life(New Years anybody??). Not to overlook the amazing design of the necklace itself, which reflects the amazing pendant, but in way that accents the pendant rather than takes away from it. In fact the wooden beads give this strikingly bold necklace a masculine and earthy feel. Another detail that I am absolutely in love with is the copper rings that are used to connect the toggle clasp. I know it will probably remain hidden from view most of the time, but the very secrecy of its presence makes me appreciate the subtle yet meticulous aesthetics of this piece even more. Another unique and outstanding necklace added to my ever growing collection of Lena Sekine's amazing works of art. Thanks a million Lena!!!!

This piece is not only a joy to look at, but the texture is a pleasure to the senses as well!! The wooden beads are so smooth they almost feel SOFT. On the other hand, the pyrite is icy and metallic to the touch, which makes the wood beads feel warm by comparison. A very stimulating piece indeed! Just as awe-inspiring is the color scheme which is perfectly synchronized: the wood used has a muted silverish hue, which perfectly compliments the vivid golden pyrite, without competing with it. The pyrite itself is a spectacle in itself, it glimers and flashes with every slight movement of the body. Craftmanship of this piece is incomparable. Its is obvious that this piece was made wit the finest, most carefully handpicked materials. Lena is without doubt one of Etsy's most talented and friendliest sellers. Thank you so much, Lena, for your amazing work!!!
