Hello from the entire crew at Lightning Bugs Quilt Studio--that would be me and our four-legged mascots. So glad you stopped in for a visit!

First the Negative Nancy news: The United States Postal Service has upped its rates, AGAIN. I'm sorry to have to pass this expense along. I called the postal service to complain and wouldn't you know it...they increased their rates anyway.
Turns out, I have no pull after all. The Positive Polly news: I work to get the best shipping rates possible and I pass that along to my customers.

For our international customers, we *do* ship worldwide. If there is an item that isn't set up for international shipping, contact me so I can adjust the shipping for you.

Quarter yards: I'm happy to announce that Lightning Bugs Quilt Studio now offers quarter yard cuts in addition to half and full yard increments. I will modify future listings to reflect that option. If you want an existing fabric as a quarter yard and it isn't listed as such, reach out so I can add that option to the listing. Please note that quarter yards are generally cut at 9" and NOT in fat quarters. If you specify that you need fat quarters, I'm happy to oblige. Please message me so I can do that for you.

Refunds: Once your fabric is cut and prepared for shipping, we can no longer issue a refund for your fabric. When your fabric is cut to specific increments, it becomes very hard to sell to other customers. Lightning Bugs has adopted a policy to disallow refunds after fabrics are cut. Thank you for understanding!

The turn around time for long arm quilting services is currently 3-4 weeks (subject to change depending on the influx of quilt tops). Please reach out for specific times and visit https://lightningbugsquiltstudio.com for a calculator that allows you to input your quilt top measurements and pay online. Then ship your quilt top to PO Box 205, New Hartford, NY 13413 and I'll get it in the mail to you within 3-4 weeks after I've received it. Easy-peasy!
