Shoebox Supply Co. entstand vor einigen Jahren als Nebenprojekt meiner Stickerfirma, als ich meine Karriere als professioneller Tätowierer begann. Im Laufe der Jahre hatte ich unzählige verschiedene Designs gezeichnet und wollte etwas damit anfangen, da ich wusste, dass nicht alle davon zu Tattoos werden würden. So wurde Shoebox Supply Co. geboren.
Alles begann mit einem Schuhkarton von Redwing Boots, den ich mir während meiner Tattoo-Lehre auf dem Bau gekauft hatte. In dem Karton war alles, was ich brauchte: Umschläge, Briefmarken, von mir entworfenes Verpackungsmaterial und natürlich jede Menge verschiedene Aufkleber.
Als ich dann aber erst einmal ein paar Dinge in Gang gebracht hatte, merkte ich, dass ich noch mehr machen konnte, und da kam Print on Demand ins Spiel, was mir die Möglichkeit gab, wirklich über Aufkleber hinauszugehen.
Als Künstlerin, Naturliebhaberin und begeisterte Wanderin hat mir dieser kreative Weg viele Vorteile gebracht. Ich kann meinen Blick fürs Designen auf eine breite Produktpalette ausdehnen und gleichzeitig nachhaltig wirtschaften, da alle meine Produkte erst nach Bestellung gefertigt werden – so entsteht kein Abfall. Klingt super, oder?
Alle meine Designs stammen von mir, einem echten Menschen. Einige davon sind handgezeichnete Tuschezeichnungen, die ich hochgeladen habe, andere wurden digital mit Programmen wie Procreate erstellt.
Es wird eine gelungene Mischung aus allem: coole Designs, Inspirationen aus der Natur und vielleicht auch ein bisschen Humor.
Ich freue mich sehr, einen weiteren Weg gefunden zu haben, meine Kunst und meinen kreativen Stil mit der Welt zu teilen. Ich hoffe, es gefällt euch. Danke fürs Vorbeischauen!
Shoebox Supply Co started as my sticker company side project a few years ago when I started my career a professional tattoo artist. Over the years I had drawn a bunch of different designs and wanted to do something with them since I knew not all of them will become tattoos, so Shoebox Supply Co was born.
It all started in a box a Redwing Boots, I had bought while working in construction during my tattoo apprenticeship. The shoebox had everything I needed envelopes, stamps, packaging I had designed, and of course and bunch of different stickers.
Once I started to get some things moving though I realized I could do more, and that's where print on demand came in, which gave me a the ability to really expand beyond stickers.
As an artist, nature lover, and regular on the hiking trail. Going down this avenue of creativity has checked a lot of boxes for me. I get to expand my creative eye to a wide range of product to design and I get to keep it sustainable at the same time since everything I offer here isn't made until you order, which means there is no waste. Sound great to me.
All my designs a created by me, a real life human. Some of these designs are my hand drawn ink drawings I've uploaded while others have been created digitally in programs like procreate.
Its going to be a nice mix of everything, cool designs, some inspiration from nature and maybe a little comedy.
