My name is Helyne Jennings, I am a mixed media & textile artist. I have been producing my work since graduating from the Royal Collage of Art in 1981. Immediately after graduating I set up a studio in Clerkenwell Workshops in London and from there began my career in mixed media fine art textiles.
I created my range of paper jewellery when I was heavily pregnant with my now very grown up 29 year old daughter. I needed a 'sit down job' and started to play with the fragments of paper remaining from my Abstract Art wall pieces which are my foremost passion and which I make to commission or sell in galleries. Once I had established a collection of paper jewellery I approached one of the galleries I dealt with to get an opinion. Happily and unexpectedly they took them all, sold it and my first order was placed. I have continued to supply craft galleries and exhibit at craft fairs nationally ever since with the help of my partner and from time to time from friends. Over the years I have been involved in running creative workshops as a maker at West Dean College, also providing creative workshops for children and the elderly with other professional artists/friends at festivals such as WOMAD both in the UK and in Spain.

Due to the uncertainty created through the corona virus epidemic and with many outlets closed, craft fairs and exhibitions cancelled I decided to reopen and rename this Etsy shop (formerly EcoBoho) and see where it leads me.

I strive to produce work as ethically as possible reusing, recycling and repurposing materials and using recycled, compostable packaging.

I now live in Devon and work from a studio in my garden inspired by the beautiful land and seascapes that surround me.
